2010 Nomination Application

The Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards are presented annually to nonprofit financial executives who have made outstanding contributions to the Greater Washington Metropolitan business community in their roles as financial stewards.  The awards may recognize financial executives at different stages in their careers to include seasoned executives, rising stars, or others whose outstanding leadership practices have raised the standards of accountability within the nonprofit industry.

Eligibility
Nominees must currently serve as a Chief Financial Executive of a nonprofit organization located in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area. 

Process
Nominations are reviewed by an independent panel of judges who have expertise in the area of nonprofit financial operations.  Consideration is given the nominee’s contributions to their organization’s overall growth, contributions to other areas of the organization, commitment to good ethics, effective reporting, and involvement in the community.

Awards Luncheon Representative

If selected as an awards finalist, would at least one of the following individuals be present at the awards luncheon on December 14, 2010, to accept an award (nominee, nominator, CEO, or board member)?


There is no entry fee required to apply for an award or attend the event; self nominations are encouraged and entrants may also be nominated by a co-worker or third party. Please answer all questions completely. Nominations must be received by 4:30 p.m. on October 29, 2010.
